Beautiful, independent 18th century villa with private pool, located a short distance from Vinci. The town was the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, and it is possible to visit the historic medieval hamlet and a very nice museum dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci's works and inventions.
The house is very spacious, comfortable, and offers a large outdoor space (2400 m2 of gardens and 6600 m2 of parkland) with gazebo, pool and lawns. The villa has recently been renovated with care to keep the original architectural characteristics, such as wall frescoes, unaltered.
The property owner lives in an attached house with its own independent access, and does not use the pool or outdoor areas used by guests.
Access to the property is via about 500 metres of unpaved road in good condition, suitable for all vehicles.
Distances: Vinci with shops of all kinds and the Leonardo da Vinci museum 3 km away, Empoli (railway station with daily connections to Florence and Pisa) 8 km, Florence (airport) 40 km away, San Gimignano 45 km, Pisa (airport) and Lucca about 50 km, Siena 60 km away.
The coast, with nice, equipped beaches 65 km away.
At guests' disposal: Large garden and nice gazebo furnished with large table and chairs for dining outside, pool for guests' exclusive use (52 m2, irregular shape - depth 1,5 metres- open from 01/05 to 30/09) with sunbeds and umbrellas, large lawn, barbecue.
Washing machine located in an external room. Parking within the grounds.
Extra services to be paid on the spot: Baby bed available free of charge. Additional bed € 100,- / week. Maid service € 12,- / hour.
It is possible to organise typical Tuscan dinners at the property, arts and crafts classes, art seminars and guided visits to the cities of art.
Small pets are permitted at an additional charge of € 50,- / week.
