ОПИСАНИЕ
Beautiful historic residence dating back to the 12th century, recently renovated and converted into 8 comfortable apartments. The tower is located in the small Umbrian town of Grutti, a short distance from important places of interest such as Todi, Spoleto and Foligno.
Used long ago as a fortress, it became the headquarters of the "Compagnia del Cappelletto", one of the 14th century's most famous companies of mercenary soldiers. The 8 apartments are located within the 3 story tower, and are all conveniently accessible by an elevator inside.
The furnishing is comfortable. In the garden beneath the tower's imposing walls there is a swimming pool overlooking the valley and its olive groves, vineyards and woods.
Distances: Grutti with a minimarket, shops and restaurants a few metres away, Collazzone with all kinds of shops 8 km away, Todi 15 km, Montefalco (enchanting medieval village) 16 km, Perugia 38 km, Assisi 40 km away.
At guests' disposal: shared garden and swimming pool for the 8 apartments (17 x 7 m - depth 1,45 m - open from 01/05 to 30/09), indoor shower (cold water only) near the swimming pool, spaces furnished with tables, chairs and sun loungers, shared movable barbecue.
