Two large, completely independent apartments located inside a beautiful farmhouse and its barn (approx. 25 m away), both restored with care. The property is composed of 6 apartments, in a tranquil and imposing panoramic location. Beautiful view of the countryside and the vineyards of Vernaccia, San Gimignano’s famous thousand-year old white wine. The property offers a large, well-maintained lawn that is entirely enclosed (15.000 m2), with a large pool with a magnificent view of San Gimignano on the horizon. At each apartment’s disposal is a “double” outdoor space (at the front and rear) with gravel, and a lawn equipped with table and chairs. The furniture is new, and in rustic style. A small country road runs alongside the property.
Distances: general store, bar, restaurant 4 km away, Certaldo with all kinds of shops and tennis court 6 km, San Gimignano 6 km away, Siena and the Etruscan city of Volterra approx. 40 km, Radda in Chianti 42 km, Florence (airport) 50 km away, Pisa (airport) 75 km, Marina di Cecina (beaches) 80 km, Rome 280 km away.
At guests’ disposal (shared with the other apartments): fenced-in garden (lawn approx. 15.000 m2), swimming pool (7 x 14 m – maximum depth 1,4 m – open from 21/04 to 13/10), outdoor shower (cold water), children’s games, barbecue, 7 bicycles (one of which is a child’s bike). Laundry room (washing machine, iron and ironing board) and parlor on the barn’s lower ground floor. All of the apartments have ceiling fans in all rooms and screens on all of the windows. Parking within the grounds.

It was a great week for all of us in Tuscany, staying at Massi 2. Reality exceeded our expactations. Everything worked great, property and surroudings were clean.
Lovely villa with great outdoor space. Good location for Certaldo. The only downside was the communal living areas, the kitchen was not big enough to cook for eight people every night and because the living room was upstairs its didn't really get used.
We were at the Massi for 7 days, it was grate place for us,my parents who are not so young loved it too, in the middle of the lovely vineyards with grate weather and grate wine,was perfect vacation.
Fabulous location next to the very amazing medieval town of San Gimignano. Property was immaculately presented, with great swimming pool and entertainment for children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property as a top place to stay.

This villa was absolutely ideally situated, about three kilometres from San Gimignano and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Picture perfect views. We had it all to ourselves for most of the stay which was even better as the pool and grounds were lovely.
We, merried couple, spent a wonderful time at the Massi place. Everything was superb: great appartment, great position on top of a slope, great neighbourhood. Mrs Barbara Massi is a perfect hostess, proud of her property. In short, an absolute must!
We stayed in massi from 31th of july till 14th of august . I must say we where pleased when we arrived at the property . The property was verry clean , the gardens arround the complex where excellent and the landlord(ess) was verry friendly and helpfull. We can recommend the house for everybody who wants to enjoy the surrounding views ( wich was great, the city of San gimignano at the hillside).

Fantastic location with stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Apartments were excellent, much better than 3 star rating. Pool area kept clean and tidied daily. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
What a stunning place to stay!! We booked both Massi 1 & 2 (14 Adults 4 Children) to use as a base for our wedding in Certaldo Alto. Massi sits on top of a hill between San Gimignano and Certaldo, about 3 miles away from both and surrounded by grape and olive fields with beautiful views all around. If you want to experience typical Tuscan countryside then this is the place to come!
