Этот старинный каменный дом расположен в очень панорамном месте, с великолепным видом на Валь-ди- Кьяна и древнюю церковь Санта Мария делле Грацие ал Калчинайо. Благодаря профессиональной реставрации, дом превратился в красивую отдельно стоящую виллу, где сохранился в неприкосновенности первоначальный облик предметов старины: красивые терракотовые полы сочетаясь с интерьером, выполненным в деревенском стиле, создают очень приятную и уютную атмосферу прошлых лет.
К дому ведёт качественная грунтовая дорога.
Расположение: Кортона- великолепный средневековый город этрусского происхождения, со всевозможными магазинами- 1 км, Камучиа- 1 км, Ареццо- 30 км.
Перуджа и Сиена- около 50 км. Дорога, по которой можно добраться до города Кортона, находится в 50 м от дома. Парковка внутри собственности.
В распоряжении гостей: прекрасный панорамный сад с натуральными террасами и небольшим, выложенным из камня бассейном (3,5 х 4 м - открыт с 01/05 по 30/09) с гидромассажными струями. Барбекю.
Дополнительные услуги: услуги горничной предоставляются по запросу ( € 15,/ час, оплачивается на месте).
Детская кроватка € 45, - / в неделю, оплата на месте. Возможность аренды кресла-кровати по цене € 80, - за неделю. По запросу гостей, предоставляется пользование прачечной (утюг и стиральная машина), которая находится в отдельном помещении.
В спальных комнатах имеются кондиционеры.

Beim Objekt Calcinaio handelt es sich um ein wunderschön restauriertes, unterhalb von Cortona gelegenes altes italienisches Landhaus. Das Haus wie das große Grundstück wurden mit viel Charme ausgestattet bzw. angelegt. Sehr angenehm an warmen Tagen ist ein Bad in dem kleinen aus Natursteinen gebauten Pool (mit Massagedüsen). Die oberhalb am Hang gelegene Etruskerstadt Cortona ist mit dem Pkw schnell zu erreichen (2 Minuten). Verkehrsgeräusche aufgrund der Straße nach Cortona sind vorhanden, wurden von uns jedoch nicht als störend empfunden.
Insgesamt haben wir einen sehr erholsamen schönen Aufenthalt in Calcinaio verlebt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.
Staying at Il Calcinaio was a definite highlight of our trip to Italy. Our family of five, with three young children, was very comfortable here and the location was perfect for exploring Tuscany. Calcinaio has been beautifully and artfully restored and we had a very
comfortable stay. Home-made jam, a bottle of wine and a magnificent bowl
of tomatoes awaited us on arrival. There is a little traffic noise and the
driveways take a bit of manouvering but the quality of the property
overrides all of this. Turn the fountain on and relax out by the pool with
a good drink!
In general, this is a fabulous central location for the region and a lovely villa. The house, pool and garden were delightful, well stocked and comfortable. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms are a huge advantage in the summer months.
Beautiful area with many good restarants and some excellent ones as well as wonderful local wines and just far enough off the “main” tourist track to avoid the log jam of tourist coaches at some of the other hillside towns. To this point in time Cortona has managed to retain a certain local feel, despite the fact that it remains a popular, if not too crowded tourist destination.
